“Interns in our office are a valuable asset and considered
to be a part of the staff. As such we'd appreciate full-time or as close to
full time employment as possible.
At this point any internship in our office would not be a
paid internship, so while this is a hands-on opportunity to be a full-time
member of our staff it is strictly on a volunteer basis. I know that our timing
requirement and lack of funding causes an impasse for many college students seeking
an internship, but I can tell you from the experience of being an intern in
this office myself, that our interns experience a level of involvement well
beyond the typical State House internship.”
