Hotel and Parking Information
Attending to CDM Convention? If your chapter is coming from outside of Boston and will require overnight accommodations, we suggest you consider booking rooms as soon as possible at one of the following hotels so as to ensure that you lock in the lowest possible rate:
Comfort Inn Boston (900 Morrissey Boulevard, Boston, MA, 02122): $116 per night, including tax and parking for a room with two double beds. This hotel is located off the MBTA’s Red Line, nearest the JFK/UMass T stop. A complimentary shuttle runs between the hotel and that T stop.
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston-Downtown (821 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02111): Approximately $267 per night for a room with two double beds, plus $40 for parking. This hotel is just blocks from Emerson’s campus, making it extremely convenient, albeit at a much higher cost.
Hotel Indigo Boston-Newton Riverside (399 Grove Street, Newton, MA 02462): $145 per night, including tax for a room with two double beds. This hotel is located immediately outside of Boston on the MBTA’s Green Line “D” branch, nearest the Riverside T stop. Just steps from the T, this hotel would be a ride of approximately 35 minutes from Emerson’s campus.
If you have questions as you are securing overnight accommodations, please do not hesitate to email Andrew at sladea@macollegedems.org. If your chapter does not have funding for overnight accommodations and/or you do not have an established College Dems group on your campus, please let us know as soon as possible and we will try to help you find an affordable arrangement!
