UMass Amherst

As the Commonwealth’s largest publicly funded university, the students of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst have a special interest in furthering many educational programs that Democrats have fought so hard to implement. Our chapter is constantly working towards increasing awareness, participation, and engagement within the youth vote. We strive to fight for issues that effect us most, and we’ve worked closely with State Senator Stan Rosenberg and State Representative Ellen Story to host events and increase awareness in the Pioneer Valley and beyond.

We’re looking forward to a 2012 where Massachusetts gains it’s voice back in the Senate, and we continue adding jobs, helping students, and promoting Democratic values with President Obama.
