Bob Massie is running for the United States Senate in Massachusetts to defeat Republican Scott Brown. Bob wants to move America towards a 21st century economy built on innovation, opportunity, and sustainable prosperity. This Senate campaign, both for the Democratic primary and the general election, will be the focus of Massachusetts’ politics for the next two years and will have national implications.
Bob is not your ordinary candidate or politician. He has spent his life fighting for social change – leading the movement for divestment in South Africa while a student at Princeton, ministering to the poor in New York City, teaching business ethics at Harvard Divinity School, and creating the Global Reporting Initiative, the leading international standard for disclosure of corporate performance on energy, labor, environmental, and human rights practices. Bob was the Democratic nominee for Lieutenant Governor in Massachusetts in 1994.
Bob is looking for energetic, responsible, progressive thinking, and hard working interns to build the excitement and grassroots network for his campaign.
